Can I place a hold on an item?

Hold requests are placed through the library catalog and may be made by Rider faculty, students, and staff (including Westminster Conservatory faculty and staff). Items placed on hold are retained at the Circulation Desk as soon as they become available. If the item is on the shelf, it will be paged for you; please allow a minimum of 24 hours for pickup. If the item is checked out, it may take as long as the semester loan period to become available. You will receive an email confirmation when the item is ready for pickup.
To place a hold, click on the Request button next to the item.
