How do I request materials using Interlibrary Loan?
Answer
If you find a book or article unavailable through Rider University Library's databases, you can request it via interlibrary loan (ILL) and receive it in just a few days, thanks to our partnerships with other libraries.
If the library doesn't have the item you need, you can request it through ILL. Books typically take two weeks, while articles and book chapters sent electronically usually arrive in 2 days or less. To request, click the ILL button on the homepage or go to this link: https://guides.rider.edu/ill
In database search results, you’ll see a “Request this title from another library (ILL)!” link next to the citation. Clicking it automatically fills out a request form with citation information—just complete your personal details and submit.
