How do I download the EBSCOhost mobile app and what is the authorization key?

To begin using the EBSCOhost iPhone app and Android applications, first download and install the app from the iTunes Store or Google Play.
Next you have to authenticate it.
- Access any EBSCOhost databases as you normally would through the Rider Library website (on your phone or desktop/laptop).
- Click on the iPhone and Android Apps link at the bottom of any EBSCOhost page.
- Enter an email you can open with your device. EBSCOhost will email you the authentication key.
- Open the email on your device and click the authentication key link to complete the process.
- You have 24 hours to access the key from your device to authenticate the app. If the key is not used within 24 hours, it expires and you will need a new key.
Once you are in the app, click on settings (lower right hand side on iPhone).
There, you can select which databases you'd like to search and set limits for peer-reviewed or full text.
Conduct searches as you normally would.
Note: Apps are Optional. EBSCOhost provides seamless access to the EBSCOhost databases and to our Library One Search on mobile devices without the need to download an app. Simply access Rider University Library's EBSCOhost databases from a mobile device and a mobile-friendly version of the site will display.
