How do I add a citation from Google Scholar to Refworks?

Answer

1. Click on the Cite link (the quotation mark icon) below the reference you want to import.

Article record in Google Scholar, quote mark icon under article extract circled in red

2. Choose the RefWorks link which appears below the citation formats. The citations and RefWorks export are not linked - you do not need to choose a citation format first.

Google Scholar Cite pop-up with RefWorks link circled in red

3. Your reference will be imported in to your Last Imported folder in your RefWorks account.
