University Library FAQ

1. View a citation you wish to save in full format by clicking on the title.
2. Find the Tools and Resources box on the right.  Under Export Formats, click the BibTeX link.
3. A new window will open with the BibTeX citation in it.  Click the download link in the bottom right corner and save the file in a place you can find later.
4. Log in to RefWorks.
5. On the toolbar near the top of the page, click the plus button and select Import references.
6. Drag and drop the file you saved to the indicated area, or click on Select a file from your computer, locate and select your file, and click Open.
7. RefWorks will ask you to identify the file type.  Enter BibTeX in the search box and select it from the list.
8. From the Database menu, select ACM Digital Library (BibTeX format).
9. Click Import.
10. Your record will be downloaded automatically and should appear in your Last Imported folder.
