How do I request access to a title in Kanopy?

If you search for a specific title on Kanopy, you may encounter the following message: "Access is currently limited, as per your library's request. For any titles that you are unable to access, please fill out the request form on that film's page." 

This means that University Library does not have streaming access to this title. If you try to watch a film in Kanopy for which we do not yet have a license, you will be prompted to complete a request form for the film. Library personnel will review your request.  When funds permit, priority is given to films that are requested by faculty for use in a course.

If you search by keyword or director, you may see the access that University Library has access to currently.  You may also click on the 'Request Access' tab to request films University Library does not currently have access.  Click Request Now. Again, you will be prompted to complete a request form for the film. When funds permit, priority is given to films that are requested by faculty for use in a course.
