What does a teach-out plan look like and why is it being developed?
A teach-out plan is being created in the unlikely event that Rider must close. Taking this preventative preparatory step ensures that even in that unlikely circumstance, Rider has made the necessary plans to ensure all students have a smooth path to transfer to another school with their current academic program. Schools that will be part of Rider’s teachout plan are in our same geographic area and would accept all Rider credits without the need for a student to apply. Should implementing the teach-out plan prove necessary, students would not have to attend one of the teachout schools but could instead opt to transfer to another school of their choice, although in that case they would have to apply through the new school’s normal processes.
