User Conduct and Security

Answer

The Libraries abide by the Student Code of Social Conduct, the Anti-Harassment and Non-Discrimination Policy, the Rights and Responsibilities of Users Policy, other university policies, and applicable state and federal laws.

Public Safety will be called if problem situations exist (e.g., unruly users, harassment of users or staff, electrical outages, destruction or mutilation of library property) and other security issues. Users who do not adhere to the behavior policies may be asked to leave and may be subjected to loss of library privileges, appropriate administrative action within the university, and prosecution under state law. Repeat violators may be banned from all university locations. Instances of non-compliance will be documented and kept on file.
