University Libraries are committed to student success by supporting education and research through services that provide convenient, reliable, and purposeful
access to information resources for the entire Rider Community. Fulfilling the mission includes building the best possible collections and resources that support the curricular and research needs of the diverse Rider Community to satisfy the information needs of the students, faculty, and staff. Functions include: a. Selection, acquisition, and maintenance of library materials. b. Developing collection through interlibrary loan requests. c. Establishing policies and procedures which ensure the preservation, security, and deaccessioning of the library collection. d. Providing equipment and technology that allows operational efficiency and meets the changing needs of patrons and staff.
