Cataloging of Materials- Scope

Answer

University Library catalogs all material selected for the collection with the exception of certain remote electronic resources, which are cataloged as time, staffing, the availability of compatible metadata (e.g., MARC records), and priorities permit. The decision to invest in cataloging open access or free resources available on the Internet is made via the collection development process, appropriate to the type of resource.
