Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery Services Rider University Libraries provide interlibrary loans for current Rider students, faculty, staff, and emeritus faculty. When the University Libraries do not have access to materials in its collection, the Libraries may obtain it from another institution through interlibrary loan. Borrowing a. Eligible users initiate an interlibrary loan (ILL) request via the online request form. b. Overdue, lost, or damaged ILL materials are referred to the ILL staff and will be handled in the same manner as other circulating materials and subject to additional fees from the lending institution. Interlibrary Loan privileges may be restricted if there are excessive fines due or if overdue materials have not been returned. Lending a. Materials restricted for ILL Lender Services: i. Audiovisual materials, pamphlets, periodicals, reserve materials, reference materials, or Special Collections materials. 1. Special Collection materials include materials in the Riderana Collections, Westminster Archives, Westminster Special Collections and any other special collections. 2. Photocopies of these materials may be produced for interlibrary loan as deemed appropriate by ILL staff. a. Books in circulation will not be recalled for ILL. b. Journal articles from license-restricted databases will not be sent via ILL.
